The GoE is investing in national social protection programmes that aim to strengthen human capital, provide access to essential services, access jobs, and protect vulnerable individuals and communities from adverse socio-economic shocks.  This, in turn, contributes to tackling poverty, improving resilience, increasing access to opportunities and ensuring equity[i]. The GoE is engaging with development partners to strengthen its capacity for effective service delivery and social protection across all sectors to secure basic living standards for the Egyptian population, particularly the most vulnerable.
