A Community Hub is a community school that has been transformed into a centre for knowledge and learning, empowering teachers and communities with tools to access information to improve their lives and their children's, ultimately contributing to more excellent social stability and resilience. The community hub model strengthens the GOE's commitment to achieving Egypt's development outcomes by ensuring that children attending WFP supported schools have access to quality education in conjunction with supporting their families' livelihoods. This encourages families to keep their children in schools, preventing potential child labor, early marriage or possible illegal migration options.

Community hubs innovatively use technology to ensure that remote communities to bridge the digital divide by equipping community schools with the needed infrastructure and tools to become knowledge hubs.
